Agness Nohra

As a marine sciences student engaged in many ocean projects, I’m passionate about preserving and protecting the environment that is facing many challenges nowadays. However this cannot be achieved without the ideas, talent and creativity of young motivated powerful women who sometimes struggle to get their voices heard.

Along with my studies, I joined the global youth biodiversity network-Lebanon branch, and I’m a member at Diaries of the Ocean, a Lebanese NGO whose goal is raising awareness about ocean challenges and importance of biodiversity as well as engaging people in the conservation of our marine resources.

As a former scout member and chief, I am “always ready” to help and serve! This is what I intend to do with the YWISD team; Put all of my skills and experiences in favor of women on the road to sustainability to ensure the future we all need!
